Launching an award-winning training proposition - The Ninety Academy
The Challenge
Ninety Innovation, an innovation agency specializing in consultancy services for the financial services sector, sought to diversify its offerings to better meet client needs and support them throughout their innovation journey. As part of the team, I had played a key role in creating two innovation training products that were being sold on an ad hoc basis. Recognizing the potential for growth, I was appointed as Head of Training to develop these offerings into a comprehensive training proposition, lead the new department, and scale it into a full-fledged business unit.
The Results
Empowered over 1,000 individuals with innovation skills and mindsets.
Awarded Silver for the Learning Provider of the Year Award 2023.
Won Silver for Excellence in the Design of Learning Content – Commercial Sector (UK) at the 2023 Learning Technology Awards, for the Idea Developers product.
Achieved an average NPS of over 86 across all products.
The Approach
To align our offerings with client needs, I began by identifying a series of innovation personas that exist within organizations, ranging from innovation newcomers to seasoned innovation advocates. This led to the creation of a menu of five tailored training products, each designed for a specific archetype. This approach allowed us to meet clients where they were on their innovation journey and support them at every stage. The courses varied in format, offering options from directed self-study to interactive, hands-on experiences, and from short, targeted interventions to comprehensive programs.
In addition to designing the training curriculum, I spearheaded the design and build of our website, ensuring it reflected our values through a cohesive and vibrant brand identity. This also involved clearly articulating our value proposition to prospective clients.
As we moved into implementation, I facilitated key client engagements, working with top-tier organizations while maintaining a high standard of quality across the entire product suite.
